Primary purpose of position:

This exciting role is an executive position that will support the CEO and his team with a variety of projects for ongoing development and management of MVP Asia Pacific Inc. The projects will include analysis, research, business development, marketing, strategy, reporting and planning. This role will also support and drive the progress of key projects as directed by the CEO. It is a highly visible role and requires frequent interaction with all employee levels, including the senior executive team and may involve voluntary international travel and subsidized educational opportunities.

Essential job functions:

In coordination with the CEO, gather input from the senior management team and help drive the agenda, planning and management for relevant projects and initiatives.

Work with each of the CEO’s direct reports, as well as executives in other groups, to monitor, evaluate and lead various types of “consulting style” analytical projects that deliver meaningful insights to the business, including but not limited to:

  • Business strategy plans, in conjunction with the needs of senior management
  • Identifying risks and opportunities that could impact the MVP business
  • Monitoring market & consumer trends
  • Market intelligence projects
  • Operational projects
  • Organizational design projects
  • Key initiatives or projects surrounding processes, growth and efficiencies
  • To identify, assess and develop new business opportunities and innovative ideas that have potential to generate new revenue streams and incremental profits for MVP
  • To provide information to the team on technological advancements in the region that open up additional sales opportunities
  • Supporting the CEO and senior management team in continuing the digital transformation of the company, including identifying & promoting digital development opportunities
  • Developing and maintaining excellent relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Be able to travel to key territories as required to build relationships with executives, fully comprehend the business and gain insight into the culture, opportunities and challenges
  • Work on any other specific projects as directed by the CEO

Person specification:

The ideal candidate needs to have a keen interest in corporate development and be a consistent over-achiever with excellent academic qualifications. Given the exposure provided in this role, the candidate also needs to be grounded, discreet and able to handle confidential information. In addition, the candidate must be capable of quickly understanding and executing a brief, tackling problems, identifying solutions and seeing them through to conclusion.

Essential skills and Experiences:

  • Excellent English communication skills – written and verbal
  • Impeccable organizational skills including project planning and management
  • Exemplary interpersonal skills and able to work with all levels
  • Strong sense of initiative and independence – can work with little supervision and provide accurate and timely results under tight schedules
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, able to come up with creative input, suggestions and solutions to different problems in varying situations
  • Ability to be confidential, discrete and diplomatic
  • Degree level: Business, Finance or Legal (MBA a plus)
  • Excellent analytical and research skills


  • Must have relevant post-graduate work experience – research, business development or strategy experience is a distinct advantage
  • Preferably have experience and knowledge of the BPO and / or Software/Consulting industry
  • Proven experience of ability to “get hands dirty” in projects – able to work at both strategic and detailed/execution levels
  • Has proven strength in building great relationships and working with a broad range of contacts
  • Experience of working within matrix business across multiple territories
  • Experience in influencing and negotiation at all levels
